The Memcom Spring Party – held at the stunning Barbican Conservatory last Wednesday evening (10th May 2023) – didn’t disappoint, and we’re delighted all three awards we entered for the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing have been shortlisted for the prestigious Memcom Membership Excellence Awards.
Find Your Dance Space, created in partnership with the imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, has picked up nominations for Best Integrated Marketing or Membership Campaign, Best Member Support and Best Public Awareness Campaign or Advancement of a Cause.
The campaign centred around compelling real-life stories, raising the profile of dance and its positive impact on the health and wellbeing of young people, the quality of ISTD teachers, and attracting people to the Find a Dance Teacher directory, as well as supporting members with their own marketing activity through support guides and an easy-to-use toolkit to drive enquiries directly to their dance schools.
It was so inspiring that Find Your Dance Space was publicly supported by Strictly Come Dancing head judge Shirley Ballas and professional dancer, TV presenter and judge Oti Mabuse.
Flying high, we’re also thrilled to be shortlisted for the Agency or Supplier Team of the Year award. This reflects our wider work with many association and membership organisation clients over the last 12 months, including the ESA, BACP, f40, CSEU, ISTD, FCA, RSGBNE, SRA, HCEOA, ECA, PDF, and Q; and the value that strategic communications can provide to the membership sector.
A great celebratory event, the nominations reflect the excellent work going on in the sector and we enjoyed celebrating with clients and meeting new friends in such an enchanting venue – home to an array of different species of plants and trees, and ponds of tropical fish.
Well done to everyone shortlisted. We’re looking forward to what we’re sure will be a spectacular awards ceremony in September!
