Team DTW takes on Roseberry Topping

A selfie photograph of a group of intrepid DTW mountaineers at the summit of Roseberry Topping, a (small) mountain in North Yorkshire

Every now and then it’s good to do something different. Especially when it’s with wonderful people in a spectacular place and the sun is shining.

On Thursday afternoon we shut up shop a couple of hours early and most of the team headed out to climb Roseberry Topping – our local version of the famous Matterhorn (only slightly smaller, but arguably just as steep).

The sun shone, the wind blew just enough to keep things cool as we climbed without blowing us off the top and we had a fab time.

Fabulous views out across Teesside, North Yorkshire and the sea. Great chat and a chance to catch up with fab people you’ve hardly seen all summer!

There may have been a rather large pub meal and a couple of drinks at the end of it. I couldn’t possibly comment about fish and chips or sticky toffee pudding…..
